When we follow God's pattern and intention for things, it is good. When man follows after his own desires we see a mass of pain and trouble that follows. Eve went against the simple command of God and messed up all that good that God had made for them. I have been thinking more about this since I have gotten married. Marriage is good. God designed it to be a joy to man. But so often man does not follow the instruction of God and causes so much trouble for himself. Fornication, adultery, divorce all cause so much pain for people in their lives. If we would strive to follow God's design, His pattern for things then we could enjoy the good in life and prosper. Whenever temptation comes always remember that God's ways are best and what will bring good into our lives. When God made everything He declared it to be good.
